Cosmetic dentistry is fun to do, obviously, because makeovers are fun for people when someone’s been suffering. And suffering could be as simple as a brown tooth or an off-color tooth, or it could be someone like, every time I eat, my teeth bump into each other. And that’s still considered cosmetic because you’re looking at that and you’re feeling that.
As far as cosmetic dentistry goes, a lot of times I just say, hey, it’s available if you want it. I don’t want to push it on anybody. But a lot of times people say, well, what can you do? And it turns into a conversation.
Cosmetic dentistry does affect your life. It doesn’t mean having all pretty crowns always. It could be as simple as whitening.
It could be as simple as someone who has maybe a denture. They don’t like the way it looks. It’s old.
Or if they’re a smoker and things are stained and just kind of helping out with it. There’s a lot of aspects of cosmetic dentistry that it’s hard to really lay out for everybody. But as people come in and say, I don’t like this, it turns into that conversation of cosmetic dentistry.
