Dental implants provide a service to folks that are missing a tooth or are going to lose a tooth or all their teeth. Unlike, you know, latter days where you had to rely on bridges or partials or dentures and people don’t like them too much, implants fill that void, whether it’s a single tooth or the whole mouth. With dental implants, for instance, if someone was to, God forbid, lose a front tooth or crack it to where it needs to come out, you could be assured that you could go without missing a tooth or you don’t have to involve the teeth on either side of it to fix that missing tooth.
That’s where dental implants fit into the dental market. They’ve been around for years. They’ve shown they’re proven.
There’s a lot of companies out there and also that do all this, but a lot of times it involves three or four different offices to kind of accomplish that. What’s nice is in my office at West County Dental, you can get it all done under one roof in a very efficient way. I have clients that go down the path of getting implants for whatever reason, whether they lost a lot of teeth or, you know, a single tooth and need a replacement.
It does change their lives and it’s neat to be a part of that. That’s really the kind of thing that makes it worth doing for everybody and providing that service. Imagine having something that lifts up in your mouth when you eat and then you fix that by getting it secure with an implant or replace it all together with implants only.
It’s almost as if you got your teeth back.
