A quick way of doing it is with clear aligners. Clear aligners, there’s brand names like Invisalign, SureSmile, and there’s lots of other ones out there. The cool thing about that is there’s no more messy impressions.
You just, we have a scanner here that scans everything, we upload it to the cloud, design it, within a couple weeks you have trays. Sometimes we get stuff done within a couple months to a year or longer depending on the scenario, but it’s a real efficient way of doing things and it’s painless. And that’s what I think people want.
So clear aligners have really changed orthodontics, I feel. The days of like, for instance, kids that are in sports and are wearing braces and they play football or a contact sport and it goes through the lip, those days are over. Now you can do clear aligners which are soft and very well contoured where you don’t get everything torn up, your lips, your cheeks, all that kind of thing.
Also, easier to keep clean. For adults, you could have a business meeting and feel confidence in yourself that you have just a clear liner that really no one will see and you’re at the same time you’re straightening and doing that cosmetic work or functional work that you need done.
